Business Development Manager

Lomax Recruitment Group is assisting our client with the hire of a dynamic Business Development Manager to carry a quota and have the opportunity develop to leading and managing a team. You must be a high-performing BDM with a strong software sales background. You will be rewarded with the chance to sell a software solution and product to a UK wide customer base.  

You must have experience selling software via phone, online and f2f when required, and experience as a team lead would be a bonus.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing your client base and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business to expand your territory.

You will have a history of developing and expanding current clients as well as achieving new business and personal sales quotas. You will love the challenges that come with new business prospecting in a competitive market. 

Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager

  • Manage the entire sales cycle

  • Unearth new sales opportunities through existing client base and networking and turn them into long term partnerships

  • Present products and solutions to prospective clients

  • Provide after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication

  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs

  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.

  • In the future you will lead, coach, motivate and drive the sales team to exceed sales and company goals.

Requirements for the Business Development Manager

  • Proven experience in Business Development and Account Management

  • Solid software sales experience with sales figures to back up your achievements

  • Fluent German with excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to build relationships

  • Love the challenges that come with new business prospecting and expanding existing business in a competitive market

  • Passionate, enthusiastic, ambitious and loves to win

  • Exceptional knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • A business acumen

  • Report and monitor sales metrics and pipelines

  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Salary

£30000 - £40000 + OTE + benefits.

Dunstable, Bedfordshire
