Business Development Manager (IT Security)

Lomax Recruitment Group is partnered with an established IT Security company looking to hire a motivated Business Development Manager.

Demand for their portfolio of security product and solutions means they continue to grow and build on their already successful sales team. As Business Development Manager you will drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Business Development Manager responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

  • Take ownership and act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to the end

  • Act as the point of contact for clients and build relationships

  • Organize client meetings/video meetings to discuss their requirements

  • Meet and exceed sales targets

  • Stay up to date with new product launches

  • Monitor and report on sales performance

  • Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience 

Business Development Manager requirements

  • Experience selling IT security products/solutions

  • Proven history of new business, lead generation and hitting sales targets

  • Proven history of developing and maintain trust within existing clients

  • Hungry to learn and develop your career

  • An ability to grasp client needs and to increase customer engagement

  • Solid knowledge of CRM software and MS Office

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

Salary and Benefits

£35000 – 43000 + commission + benefits
