Lomax Recruitment Group have a huge career opportunity for salespeople looking to get into IT Sales. Or maybe you are already in IT and Tech Sales but looking to move your career to the next level.

We are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join an established tech company in a space with huge demand and achievable high earnings.  

No IT or Technology experience required. Just a good sales background, not afraid of the phone, a winning and curious attitude and coachable.

You will join a small friendly team of Business Development Specialists. Via telephone, you will prospect potential new customers from your own research and incoming enquiries within a defined territory, develop and maintain customer relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle to close.

You should be a quick learner, resilient and have the hunger to learn as you will work closely with colleagues and managers to develop your career in IT and Technology sales.   

Business Development Executive responsibilities

  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to enquiries

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests

  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs

  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest

  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Business Development Executive requirements

  • Coachable

  • Experience in a new business environment

  • Strong communication skills via phone and email

  • Strong desire to achieve targets and KPI’s

  • Massive desire to win and to move up within your sales career

  • Proficiency with CRM software is ideal

  • An interest in IT/Technology.

Salary and Benefits

  • £21000 - £25000 + commission + benefits

Location

  • Ideally located in the Midlands, remote but ideally 1 day in the office.
